BayGH.com is an online marketplace - a website for buyers and sellers to come together and trade almost anything!. A place where sellers can put auctions on their products and sell them very quick.

BayGH serves both individuals and local business owners. You can sell almost anything, from books, shoes, cloths, personal belongings and even houses and cars.



HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:

- A seller lists an item on bayGH web marketplace. The seller gives the description and price of the item.

- If a buyer wish to purchase the item, he/she logs in to bayGH and finds the seller's phone number. The buyer will then communicate with the seller, meet at a safe place where the buyer can make payment for the item and collect their item.

- Due to security reasons, bayGH strongly recommends that both seller and buyer meet in public places where payment and collection of items could be made safely.

LEAVE FEEDBACKS:
Buyers and Sellers are also advised to leave FEEDBACK comments for each other after a successful transaction.
Receiving feedbacks on bayGH for every successful transaction you make will convince other people that you are genuine, hence they will enjoy buying from you or selling to you.



To create your account choose the “Register” link on the header navigational bar or use any of the links available on the home page.

When registering you will be asked to complete a short form which includes standard information such as your contact details, preferred login credentials etc.

Mandatory fields include:-

· Name

· City

· State/Province/county

· Zip/Post Code

· Phone Number

· Birthday

· Username & Password

· E-Mail address

· Confirmation of terms an conditions acceptance

Once registered you will receive E-Mail confirmation.

To Sell your item simply click on the “Sell” link found on the header navigational bar. The listing process is split up into several main sections, notably:-

  • Category selection

  • Item Details

  • Auction Settings

  • Shipping and Payment

  • Listing preview

  • Listing confirmation

The listing process is developed in such a way that you are guided through every step seamlessly.

The first part of the process is to choose the category you wish to list your item in, this can be revised at any time by using the “Previous Step” navigation button.

Step Two enables you to enter your Item Title and Description, a full wysiwyg editor is in place to enable you to use HTML descriptions.

Step Three, this is the biggest stage of the listing process. On this step you can set the following:-

1. Quantity Type:-

Single Item

This is a single quantity Listing

Multiple Item

Multiple Item enables you to list a multiple quantity ITEMS, for example if you have 100 pens to sell you can list all of these together in a single lot. Buyers will be able to select how many they wish to buy.

2. Currency:-

You can select your preferred item currency using the drop down menu available

3. Quantity:-

This field is only active if listing a Multiple Item, please see above for an explanation of this listing type

4. Item Price:-

Item Price allows you to set an amount you are willing to sell the item for – straight out. For example you can set the price to 100.00

5. Item featuring (if available):-

The following options are available to you (fees may apply), these will highlight your item on the site to ensure they reach more visitors:-

§ Home page featured

§ Category featured

§ Bold text

§ Highlighted background

Set start/end time:-

You can either opt to list your item right away and set a defined number of days for it to be live for or you also have the option to define your own custom start/end time.

Private Auction:-

Private auction will hide the bidders identity on the item details page

Image upload:-

To accompany your item you can either upload images from your local computer or enter the URL of an image(s) hosted elsewhere

Auto Re-List:-

For convenience you can opt to have your items automatically re-listed for you, options are available to allow you to select whether the item should be re-listed if sold and how many re-list attempts should be made.

On the Next Step you can set your shipping and payment preferences including your methods of transaction.

Proceeding on, you can then review the listing and make changes if required, please note you can still edit your listing once live via the members area.

The final step provides you with listing confirmation.



Buying on is easy - and fun! You can find almost anything for sale - from new computers to antiques and collectibles.

Here are a few basic steps to get you started:

  1. Find an item.
    Search by typing in a keyword for an item you're interested in, or browse through our categories.



  1. Learn about the item you found.
    Read the item description carefully, and look at the pictures the seller has included. If you have any questions about the item that aren't answered in the item's description, you can ask the seller about the item by clicking on the 'Email The Seller' link or by the seller's phone number (You should sign in to see this info). Carefully reading all the information and asking informed questions will help you determine if this is the item you want!



  1. Review the seller's feedback.
    You can see the seller's feedback score and percentage of positive feedback right on the item page. Also, be sure to read the comments left by the seller's previous buyers to be sure that this is a seller you feel you can trust.



  1. Bid or Buy It Now.
    Once you've found the item you want, you can place a bid or purchase the item instantly using Buy It Now. Some items are sold only in auction-style listings that require you to place a bid, while others include the Buy It Now option. This allows you to buy the item instantly. Check the item page to see what purchase options are available to you.



  1. Contact the seller to pay and collect your item.
    After you've won or purchased the item, you have to contact the seller through their phone number or email they provided. You should then discuss about where and how to meet for payment and collection of the item.



  1. Leave feedback.
    Here's your chance to tell the community about your experience with this seller. You can leave feedback for any member you've bought from or sold to.



BayGH Sellers are given the opportunity to create online STORES for their businesses.
Having an online store for your business is a great way to expose your business to the outside world. When you have an Online STORE you can list almost all your products online to enable buyers have ideas about the items you sell.
It is like having an Internet Shop for your local business. Buyers who visit your online store will see all the items you have listed on bayGH, this will enable them look through the items they are willing to buy.



The auction watch features notifies you of newly listed auctions which contain keywords you have chosen. For example if you are looking for a new Digital Camera you could enter in those keywords from within your members area. Each time a new Item is listed containing those keywords you will be notified via email.




The item watch features lets you keep a close eye on any item. This feature means you can be kept up to date on how an item is doing and prepares you to buy it. You can watch any item by clicking on the “Watch this item” link on any auction page.
